In 2014, NorthEast of the Well was given the opportunity to provide a weekly Bible Study on-site for a women’s county program in Anaheim. This residence houses women who have children and/or are pregnant, seeking to rebuild their lives from the destructive pattern of addiction. NorthEast of the Well came alongside these ladies weekly to encourage them in their journey towards recovery. It was our desire to provide a strong foundation for a life of purpose, through belief in Jesus Christ. We believe that an encounter with Christ results in behaviors and patterns dramatically changed for the good. At our weekly outreach we provide lunch, childcare, Biblical guidance and encouragement. This setting is ideal for real questions and intimate discussion.
In March 2016, we launched Monday night Community Gatherings at First Congregational Church of Anaheim - a mere 2 blocks from the Heritage House recovery program. This gathering began so the women in program could benefit from the support and encouragement from a larger community of faith. Men, women and children along with local churches, volunteers and other program alumni join in together on Monday nights in Anaheim to worship as one body, spurring one another on to God's promises of NEW LIFE. Join us this Monday!
