I heard of NorthEast when I was a supervisor at a juvenile detention facility within the OC Probation Department.

Laura brought her program to my girls. I heard the conversation and could not help but to join in. I understood what NorthEast was about – they help people in dark places that really need it; whether it is a voice, an ear, a hopeful word. We need to do whatever we can to help their mission. It could be a smile, a dollar, a meal, a word, but we just need to keep the faith and do Kingdom Work! I simply love NorthEast – just regular folk doing God’s Work for the sake of doing God’s Work – nothing else – just for the love of God and the love of people. That is what I truly admire about NorthEast.
