In 2018 Amanda was in a life of addiction that led her to prostitution and selling drugs. She needed a way out but was too stubborn until she had a spiritual awakening that led her to realize Satan is real and so is God.

Living in the darkness she realized, it was only Jesus that could save her. She experienced how much God loved and adored her and now she wants to give back that same love to others who are broken. Amanda found NorthEast through our Worship Leader (Sophie) and came to see what we do for herself. Within a brief period of time she joined our team as an intern. Her life verse is, “Place me like a seal over your heart, like a seal on your arm; for love is as strong as death, it’s jealousy unyielding as the grave. It burns like a blazing fire, like a mighty flame.” Songs of Songs 8:6
